organization for your pedirgee book

I thought I would share with you a little tip for your pedigree book. Sometimes they become jumbled and cumbersome. I use page tabs (readily available at Wal Mart and other retailers). They come in colors (I use these) and clear. I stager the tabs for easy viewing. The tabs are adjustable and can be moved if you need to move them. The Does are in the front and all the Bucks (I only have 4 herd sires) are in the back. Mostly they are in the book with the oldest animals first and so on down the line. I use a Binder with 3 inch rings and a carry bag to put everything in. The binder also has pockets and other openings for misc. show reports and pedigrees for sale animals.
