ARBA Conventions

NO PERSON ENTERING RABBITS IN THE ARBA CONVENTION SHOULD BE PERMITTED TO ASSIST THE JUDGE BEHIND THE TABLE (IN THE BREEDS THEY HAVE ENTRIES). THE IDEA THAT A JUDGE WOULD EVEN PERMIT THIS TO HAPPEN IS BEYOND BELIEF. JUDGES WHO ALLOW SUCH NONSENSE SHOULD RETHINK HOW IT MAKES THEM LOOK!
EVERY JUDGE HAS THE LAST WORD ON HOW HIS OR HER TABLE IS RUN.

Convention 2009 San Diego

At this time I have only one comment about this Convention.
English Angoras were judged with a breeder (who had rabbits entered) behind the table with the judge (also from Ca.)..........This should be against show rules, it is inappropriate at the least. ARBA Convention is supposed to be a blind judging giving all exhibitors anonymity. Breed Chairs should arrange for people with no entries in the breed to help the judge. The judge should also ask people behind the table who have entries in the breed to remove themselves for the duration of their breed.
The appearance of non bias fairness should be paramount at this the largest most important show of the year.
